Bringing Warmth Beyond the Home: Leruum’s Christmas Support for EACH

When we think of comfort, most of us picture home: soft sheets, familiar textures, and peaceful nights. But for families supported by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), comfort means something even deeper: care, dignity, and compassion during challenging times.

This Christmas, we wanted to share a little of that warmth beyond the home. When the Kevin Beattie Foundation reached out to invite us to take part in their Big Christmas Raffle & Auction in Ipswich, we were grateful for the opportunity to help.

Why Supporting Children Matters to Us

Leruum was founded on the belief that thoughtful design can soften everyday life. Not only through the quality of the fabric we use, but through the care, intention, and responsibility behind everything we create. From the very beginning, our collections have been inspired by family life and the spaces where memories are made, particularly children’s bedrooms.

Supporting a charity dedicated to children’s well-being felt natural to us. Children deserve comfort, security, and moments of joy, especially when facing circumstances beyond their control. Organisations like EACH provide vital support not only to children, but also to parents, siblings, and extended families, helping them navigate incredibly difficult journeys with empathy and respect.

A Charity Making a Real Difference

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices provides essential specialist care and emotional support for families across East Anglia. Their work is widely respected & supported by Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales and long-time ambassador Ed Sheeran, but what truly sustains their services is the kindness of local communities and small businesses.

When the Kevin Beattie Foundation contacted us about this year’s Big Christmas Raffle, we knew straight away it was something we wanted to contribute to.

Our Small Contribution

We’ve donated 20 children’s duvet cover sets as raffle prizes: each made from soft, breathable cotton in one of our cheerful dog-print designs. It’s a simple gesture, but one we hope brings a smile to the faces of some courageous children.

If you’d like to see a similar design from our collection, you can explore our colourful prints here: Graphic Print Bedding Collection.

A Note from Our Founder

“When I started Leruum, my aim was simple: to create long-lasting, natural cotton bedding with patterns inspired by the joy of family life, beginning with my own children’s rooms. Supporting organisations like EACH, who bring comfort to families when they need it most, feels very close to the heart of why Leruum exists.”
Seda Sogancioglu, Founder, Leruum

If You’d Like to Support EACH

EACH relies on donations of all sizes to continue providing their essential services. Every contribution helps fund specialist care, family support, and resources that make a meaningful difference to children and their loved ones.

You can learn more about East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, their services, and ways to support them through their official website.

This Christmas, we are reminded that warmth is not only something we create in our homes, but something we share through compassion, community, and care. May your homes, and your hearts, be warm throughout the season.

With love,
The Leruum Team
